The International Internship Program “Dialogue for the Future: Civilizational Choice of the State” Has Been Completed
On the basis of Shumen University “Bishop Konstantin Preslavski,” the Department of Information, Advanced Training and Lifelong Learning (Bulgaria), in cooperation with the Association for International Education and Internships (Bulgaria), within the framework of educational and research cooperation “Dialogue for the Future,” the NGO “International Scientific and Educational Platform ‘UPDATE’ conducted the international internship program “Dialogue for the Future: Civilizational Choice of the State” (180 hours / 6 ECTS credits) from September 19 to December 19, 2025, for educators and researchers from Ukraine, as well as representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies.
The main objective of the internship was to familiarize participants with best European practices, conduct scientific and practical discussions, and discuss ideas for Ukraine’s development within the system of civilizational and geopolitical transformations, with the aim of ensuring social cohesion, stability, peace, and prosperity.
Participants of the internship took part in a series of scientific seminars and training sessions in the following professional areas:
- Europeanization of public administration: challenges, prospects, and adaptation tools;
- Ensuring national security under conditions of global governance;
- Harmonization of law: the Ukrainian dimension within the system of international norms.
They also joined discussions on contemporary models of international interaction and partnership in the context of the development of the global communicative space. Issues of diplomacy and interstate dialogue, transcultural communications, and the latest trends in cooperative relations formed the basis of the round table entitled “Strategy for Tomorrow: Civilizational Choice, Shaping the Future.”
In addition, internship participants had the opportunity to take part in the annual international scientific and practical conference “The Modern Paradigm of Public Administration.”
The overall results of the international internship have been published in the form of collective monographs.
